October 2016 Monthly Meal Plan
Happy Crocktober! As promised, I'm back again and being good about making my monthly meal plans, and this month I've brought my Crockpot with me. I love slow cooker recipes. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even dessert, I love them all. They're low maintenance, and it's amazing to have a nice hot meal waiting for you when you need it without all the normal dinner-time hassle. So with it being officially Fall, it's officially full-on Crockpot season, and I'll be using mine every week, probably more than once.
Here's what we've got this month:
- Nothing too crazy or out of the ordinary for breakfast, though I did make sure to use some seasonal recipes that included apples or pumpkin.
- For snacks, I decided to cute it up with lots of Halloween inspired ideas.
- And for dinner, I've already mentioned that we're eating from the Crockpot this month. You can check out all of my favorite slow cooker recipes here. And we're also breaking out the casseroles. Last month, I just stuck my toe into casserole season. This month we're diving right in with all of our favorites.

My daughter watching over my shoulder was saying, "Who is this woman! I would eat that. And that. And Apple Nachos? Nah." We looked at the recipe. She changed her mind. Thanks for all the inspiration!
