Pumpkin Spice Sheet Cake
I don’t think it’s officially pumpkin season yet, is it??!! But, yeah. I just couldn’t wait anymore. I’m starting the #PumpkinSpiceEverything as soon as possible. Starting with truly amazing Pumpkin Spice Sheet Cake with cream cheese frosting. Classic!
This Pumpkin Spice Sheet Cake recipe is really easy to make. It’s not quite a dump cake, but close. You pretty much just mix all of the ingredients up in a bowl and pour it into a baking dish. Cut and frost. I always use this cream cheese frosting recipe because it’s really good and you can even pipe with it without it melting on you.
If you don’t have any actual “pumpkin spice” seasoning, you can use 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ginger, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, and 1/4 teaspoon allspice. Pretty simple. I find myself using this simple homemade version a lot because it seems like I’m almost always out of pumpkin pie spice…. I wonder how that happens…
If you want to make the cute little pumpkins to decorate like in the pictures, it’s actually really easy. You just need 2 piping bags, a medium open star tip like a Wilton 32, and a small round tip like a Wilton 4. Place the star tip in one bag with orange color frosting, and just pipe a little blob onto each piece. Then fill the other bag with the round tip and green frosting and pipe another little blob on top of the orange blob for the stem.

Pumpkin Spice Sheet Cake Recipe
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin spice
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 4 eggs beaten
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1/2 batch this cream cheese frosting recipe
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and pumpkin spice.
Add oil, eggs, and pumpkin puree and whisk again, just until combined
Pour batter into a lightly greased 9"x13" baking dish.
Bake in a 350° oven for about 45 minutes, or until cooked through.
