4tablespoonsbutterdivided
½bag caramelsabout 16-18 pieces
Maple Glaze
¼cupmaple syrup
2tablespoonsbutter
1cuppowdered sugar
Instructions
Line up your unwrapped Rice Krispies Treats in a small baking dish. Set aside.
In a small saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons butter over medium heat.
Add sweetened condensed milk. Allow it to heat up for a minute or two, but not to a boil.
Add caramels, and stir until the caramels are melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Remove from heat.
Pour caramel mixture over the Rice Krispies treats, and spread, if necessary.
Chill for 15-30 minutes, until the caramel sets.
When the caramel has set, remove from refrigerator, and separate the Rice Krispies Treats if the caramel made them stick together.
In a medium microwaveable bowl, add maple syrup and 2 tablespoons of butter. Warm in the microwave in 45 second intervals, stirring between each interval until the mixture is hot and the butter is melted.
