Ingredients
1bunch think asparagus spearstrimmed
1tablespoonolive oil
¼teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoongarlic powder
¼teaspoonblack pepper
1tablespoongrated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Place asparagus in a single layer on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Brush olive oil onto asparagus with a pastry brush.
Sprinkle Parmesan, garlic salt, and black pepper.
Bake in a 425° oven until just tender. Very thin asparagus, like the kind shown here, will take about 8 to 10 minutes, whereas thicker asparagus will need closer to 15 to 20 minutes.
