Crockpot Caramel Apples

Make gooey, sticky, sweet Crockpot Caramel Apples right in your slow cooker with just 2 ingredients! Crockpot Caramel Apples are the perfect Fall-time treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 14 ounce packages caramels
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 tart apples with sticks inserted

Instructions

  • Lightly butter the slow cooker.
  • Add caramels and water to the Crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on High for about 1 -1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent burnt spots.
  • When caramels are melted, turn heat to Low or Warm.
  • Prepare a piece of wax paper or foil, liberally greased with butter to prevent sticking.
  • Dip apples into Crockpot and cover completely with caramel.
  • Allow excess to drip off the apple. Then transfer to greased wax paper.
  • Allow caramel apples to cool and set before eating.
