2poundsground beef
1bell pepperfinely chopped
1medium yellow onionfinely chopped
3medium garlic clovesminced
1can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
½cupketchup
¼cupbarbecue sauce
2tablespoonsprepared yellow mustard
1tablespoonapple cider vinegar
1teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
2tablespoonsbrown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Hamburger buns for serving
Instructions
Turn Instant Pot to saute, and allow to heat up.
When Instant Pot is hot, add ground beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic, and saute until ground beef is cooked through and no longer pink.
Turn off Instant Pot. Drain grease then return to the pot.
Add tomato sauce, ketchup, barbecue sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and a little salt and black pepper to the Instant Pot. Stir to combine.
Seal pressure valve, and cook on High Pressure for 7 minutes.
When done cooking allow to Natural Release for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn venting knob to venting position to release remaining pressure. Open the lid carefully.
Stir. Then serve warm on buns.

To make this recipe gluten free, substitute the Worcestershire sauce for coconut aminos or gluten free tamari sauce, and serve on gluten free buns.

Freezer Directions: Cook sloppy joes according to recipe instructions. Allow to cool completely, then transfer to an airtight freezer bag or container. Freeze for up to 3 months. To use, thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Reheat in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl or in a large pot or skillet over medium heat.
