Ingredients
2large English cucumbersthinly sliced
½medium red onionthinly sliced
1tablespoonsalt
½cupsour cream
3tablespoonsmayo
2tablespoonsred wine vinegar
1tablespoonfresh dill(or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Place cucumbers and onion in a large colander over a large bowl or the sink.
Sprinkle with salt and toss to distribute evenly. Let stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour or up to 2.
Rinse cucumbers. Transfer to a paper towel and pat dry. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add all remaining ingredients and whisk to combine.
Add cucumbers and onions to the dressing mixture and toss until coated.

Notes
You can skip salting the cucumbers in steps 1 and 2 to save time. However, your salad will be runnier more quickly.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. The longer the cucumber sits in the dressing, the less crispy it will become.
