Ingredients
1 ⅓cupscream
⅓cupshredded Parmesan
3-5ouncesGorgonzola cheese
SteaksI only made two 8 ounce steaks, but there's probably enough Gorgonzola Sauce for 6-8, maybe even more
butter
½teaspoonWorcestershire sauce per steak
garlic salt & pepper
Instructions
Pour cream into a large skillet over medium heat.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and allow to simmer until it reduces to about half (if you were to pour the cream from the skillet into a measuring cup after simmering, it should measure about ⅔ cups). Stir often.
While the cream is simmering, prepare the steaks. Butter each side of the steak like a piece of bread. Pour Worcestershire on each steak, and season with garlic salt and pepper.
Turn your oven to broil (or grill them outside if the weather permits!) and cook the steaks to the desired wellness. I like mine very rare, so I just cook them for a couple minutes on each side to brown the outside.
Now that the steaks are ready, you're ready to finish up the Gorgonzola sauce. Removed the reduced cream from the heat and add Parmesan and Gorgonzola. Stir to combine until sauce is creamy.
Pour 1-2 tablespoons of Gorgonzola sauce over each steak. Garnish with green onions, if desired. Serve warm.
