Bake strawberries for 1½-2 hours. Begin checking your strawberries at about 1 hour, and check every 10-20 minutes after that. Cook times can vary slightly based on your oven and how thickly you sliced your strawberries. When done, strawberries, should be thin and crispy.
Cool strawberries before storing them.
The thickness of your strawberry slices will affect how long they need to be baked. Try to cut your strawberries in as uniform slices as possible so they cook evenly.
Be sure to use parchment paper, NOT wax paper. Wax paper will melt in the oven and stick to the strawberries.
