PREP POTATOES

1. Place potatoes in a large sauce pan and cover with cold water. Set over high heat, cover, and bring to a boil.

SIMMER

2. Once boiling, uncover and reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until potatoes are tender.

SOFTEN BUTTER

3. While potatoes are boiling, place half and half and butter in a microwave safe bowl, and heat for about 30 seconds, until butter is soft.
