ACTIVATE

1. Activate the yeast: In a small saucepan over medium heat, add milk and sugar and heat to 110°-115°F.

WHISK IN

2. Whisk in yeast. Cover. Set aside for 5 minutes to activate yeast.

TRANSFER

3. After 5 minutes, transfer yeast mixture to a large mixing bowl (or the bowl of your stand mixer.
