2large eggs
2tablespoonswater
½cuppanko breadcrumbs
½cup plain breadcrumbs
Instructions
Preheat oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. (Optional -- See step 7)
In a shallow dish, whisk together flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Set aside.
In a second shallow dish, beat together eggs and water. Set aside.
In a third shallow dish, whisk together both breadcrumbs. Set aside.
Dip each tender into the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and then into the breadcrumb mixture, patting to completely coat. Then place the tender into the air fryer basket. Repeat with remaining pieces. Chicken tenders should be in a single layer. You may have to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Cook in the air fryer at 400°F for about 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
If working in batches, transfer cooked chicken to prepared baking sheet, and place in preheated oven until all of the chicken has been cooked. Serve warm.
Repeat with remaining chicken tenders, keeping them warm in the oven between batches as desired. Enjoy hot.
