Ingredients
½cupdried buttermilk powder
2tablespoonsdried parsley
1teaspoondried dill weed
1tablespoononion powder
1tablespoongarlic powder
2teaspoonsdried onion flakesoptional
2teaspoonsdried chivesoptional
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.
To make into a dressing or dip, add 2 tablespoons mix to 1 cup low fat buttermilk (may substitute with milk, but it will be slightly more runny and less tangy), ½ cup mayo, and ½ cup sour cream.
If making into a dip or dressing you may want to pulse in a food processor to make some of the bigger pieces of dried herbs a little smaller and better mixed.
Storage: Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.
