Ingredients
2poundsground beef
1bell pepperfinely chopped
1medium yellow onionfinely chopped
3garlic cloves minced
1can(8 ounces) tomato sauce
½cupketchup
¼cupbarbecue sauce
2tablespoonsprepared yellow mustard
1tablespoonapple cider vinegar
1teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
2tablespoonsbrown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Hamburger buns for serving
Instructions
In a large pot over medium heat, brown ground beef with onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until beef is cooked through and no longer pink. Drain and return to skillet.
Add tomato sauce, ketchup, barbecue, mustard, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire, and brown sugar. Stir to combine.
Bring to a simmer, and allow to simmer on low for about 20 minutes.
Serve warm on buns.
