Ingredients
1poundthin green beansthawed if frozen
3shallotsthinly sliced
¼cupbutter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Meanwhile, in a small skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
Add shallots to melted butter and saute 2-4 minutes, or until tender. Remove from heat and set aside.
Add green beans to boiling water and allow to cook for 1-2 minutes (Don't cook too long or they'll get soggy!)
Drain the water from the green beans.
Return green beans to the large pot. Add shallots and butter and stir to combine.
