PREP POTATOES

Place potatoes in a saucepan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, until tender.

MELT & Sauté

Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cabbage to the skillet, and saute until soft and tender. Cover to help cabbage cook faster.

DRAIN & MASH
3.
When the potatoes are soft, drain the water. Then transfer potatoes to a large mixing bowl. Begin mashing potatoes with a potato masher or fork.
