Crispy, spicy Cajun Baked Catfish can be made in just 30 minutes, top to bottom, and baked to golden, crispy perfection right in your oven.

I have a few pan-fried catfish recipes that I use all the time, but I couldn't help but think that I could probably stream line the process by baking it all in the oven at once. And, thank goodness, I tried it because that theory was right. And delicious.

combine & mix

1. In a shallow dish, mix together cornmeal, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and salt.

2. Place a catfish fillet in the cornmeal dish. Coat completely. Remove to a buttered and lined cookie tray. Repeat for remaining fish.
