CREAM TOGETHER

1. In a large mixing bowl, cream shortening, butter, and sugar.

ADD IN & BEAT AGAIN

2. Add molasses and egg, and beat again until everything is combined.

WHISK & ADD

3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Add to butter mixture. Mix well.
