For the Crust
2¼cupsvanilla wafer crumbs
½cupbuttermelted
3ripe bananasthinly sliced
Cheesecake Filling
1½cupsheavy creamdivided
1package(3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding
16ouncescream cheesesoftened
1cuppowdered sugar
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
Whipped Cream
1cupheavy cream
2tablespoonspowdered sugar
1teaspoonvanilla extract

Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, add vanilla wafer crumbs and butter. Stir to combine.

Press crumb mixture onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-in. springform pan or 9-in. square baking pan.
Arrange banana slices on the bottom of the pie crust. Cover and chill while making the cheesecake filling.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together pudding and ½ cup of cream. Set aside to set slightly.
Remove the crust from the refrigerator, and pour the filling onto the crust. Spread evenly.
Place covered in the refrigerator until set, about 2 hours.
To a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip on high until stiff peaks form.

Prevent Bananas From Browning: Very lightly spritz or brush banana slices with lemon juice prior to arranging in pie crust shell, and prior to using as garnish. Because they will still brown, it’s best to assemble up to 1 day in advance, and decorate with banana slices just before serving.
Storage: Cover leftovers and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
