12ounces cooked salmon(canned works great!)
2eggs
1tablespoonDijon mustard
½tablespoonlemon juice
½cupbreadcrumbs
1teaspoonsalt
½teaspoongarlic powder
2tablespoonsfresh dill
1tablespoonfresh chopped chives
Oil for pan-frying
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, add salmon and flake apart.
Add remaining burger ingredients, and mix together until combined.
Form into 4 patties and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Line a plate with a paper towel. Set aside.
Fry the burgers for a few minutes on each side until brown and crispy.
When done cooking, place burgers on paper towel lined plate to absorb extra grease from cooking.
Serve warm on a bed of greens or on a bun.

Chill the Patties: Refrigerate the patties for 15-20 minutes before cooking to help them hold their shape better.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat on the stovetop in a skillet, in the microwave, or in an air fryer until warmed through.
Freezer Directions: Salmon burgers can be frozen before or after cooking. Place flat on a parchment paper lined baking sheet, and freeze for about 2 hours, until frozen. Transfer to a freezer bag with a piece of parchment paper between each patty. If uncooked, cook following the directions above from frozen. The cooking time will increase due to the coldness. If burgers are cooked, thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Then reheat on the stovetop in a skillet, in the microwave, or in an air fryer until warmed through.
