In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and ranch seasoning.
Add beer, and slowly mix in.
Fold in cheddar.

Ranch Seasoning - Store bought works fine for this recipe, or have a go at making your own! Use 2 tablespoons of homemade seasoning for this recipe.
Make Ahead - Prepare recipe completely. Then cover and refrigerate until ready to serve, up to 3 days. Allow to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving to soften a bit for better dipping.
