Watermelon Margaritas

THE GRACIOUS WIFE

Watermelon Margaritas are the ultimate drink for backyard summer BBQs, poolside lounging, or Taco Tuesday. Made with fresh watermelon and just a few simple ingredients.

LET’S GET STARTED!

This cocktail is naturally sweet, fresh, and ridiculously easy to blend up.

blend

1. Pack a large blender full of cubed ripe watermelon (with or without seeds) and blend until you have a juice. One small watermelon should yield roughly 3-5 cups, so you will have leftover juice for extra margaritas. Strain the juice for pulp and seeds if desired.

prep glasses

2. To prepare glasses, pour some margarita salt on a plate. Cut a lime into wedges and rub the wet part against the rim of the glass in a circular motion. Then dip the cup upside down onto the salt and press down, moving slowly to ensure all sides are covered. Set aside until ready for use.

combine

3. In a large pitcher, mix 2½ cups watermelon juice with tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and agave. Stir until combined.
