Buttermilk Substitute

Buttermilk pancakes, buttermilk biscuits,... So many delicious things to be made with buttermilk.  But what if you don't have buttermilk on hand?! Don't fret.  Here's a super easy buttermilk substitute using ingredients you probably do have on hand.

I use this quite often because I rarely ever have any buttermilk, and it works wonderfully.  Plus, it couldn't be any easier with just two ingredients! Just mix up the ingredients and let it set in a bowl for a few minutes and voila! You can use for whatever tasty recipe you're making that needs buttermilk!

The following recipe will give you one cup of buttermilk substitute.
