I was looking for an easy kid-pleasing dessert recently, and came across this cookies and cream pudding idea in a Kraft magazine. So I tweaked it quite a bit and came up with something amazing.
I actually ran across a Sand Pudding recipe from Ma Nouvelle Mode this summer, and it was so awesome, I started using her pudding recipe for all pudding-related needs. Everyone loved it, including Mr. Gracious. It just takes easy instant pudding and adds a few extras like cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar. I dressed it up with crushed Oros and voila! Cookies and Cream Pudding!

Cookies and Cream Pudding
Ingredients
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 1 small package vanilla pudding mix
- 1-½ cups milk
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- 8 Oreos crushed
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together softened cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar.
- In a separate bowl, mix pudding and milk. Add to cream cheese mixture.
- Fold in Cool Whip and Oreos.
- Garnish with Oreo halves and more Cool Whip, if desired.
