Apple Dippers- A healthy snack for kids with added protein to keep little tummies fuller for longer. Great for grown-ups on-the-go too!
Apple Dippers - Snack for Kids
The way to keep little tummies fuller longer is to add protein! So here, I dressed up some apples to make an easy, healthy, protein-packed snack for the kiddos. These Apple Dippers are only 3 ingredients: apples, peanut butter (or other nut butter), and sliced or crushed nuts. My kids love all three of these ingredients separately. So put them together, and they're in paradise.
If there are nut allergies in your home or if you're making these for school, you can substitute the peanut butter for sunflower butter and the nuts for raisins. Still healthy and yummy!
To make these Apple Dippers:
Start with an apple, cored and sliced.
Dip in some peanut butter. Then roll in the nuts of your choosing. I used sliced almonds this time, but crushed peanuts are also delicious.
