Have cheesecake for breakfast with Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast Bake! Fresh strawberries, creamy cheesecake spread, and a graham cracker topping!
Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast Bake
For breakfast this morning, our family had this amazing Strawberry Cream Cheeseย French Toast Bake.ย A couple of weeks ago, I made a delicious Blueberry Banana French Toast Bake, and it was so awesome, I wanted to try it again with some new flavors.
I did make some changes to the general recipe, other than just the flavor.
1.ย I used Frenchย bread. The Hawaiian rolls were delicious but with the added moisture from the cream cheese I needed somethingย stiffer to hold up better for an overnight recipe.
2.ย I used less milk and eggs.ย Again, to give it more structure since the bread will be soaking the whole night.
So here's the new Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast Bake recipe!

This recipe calls for 9 eggs total, but the instructions only mention 7 eggs. Can you clarify how many eggs for each step?
Michelle says
I'm sorry. The recipe called for 8 eggs and then instructed to beat in 6. You're supposed to just beat in all 8 at once. I've updated the recipe, and I apologize about the typo!
Molly says
Thanks for the clarification! I ended up making it with 6 to be safe but will definitely try again w/ all 8. It was still delicious!

can this be frozen?
Michelle says
I haven't tried freezing it. Maybe it would work before baking it. If you try it, let me know how it goes!
