Creamy Black Bean Avocado Dip
Don’t let the pictures throw you off on this amazing recipe. I know it doesn’t look like it would be an addictive dip, but this Creamy Black Bean Avocado Dip is our new favorite. Everyone in the family loves it. My kids would seriously just stick their whole face in the bowl if I let them, and Mr. Gracious and I love it so much that it’s officially been added to our Sunday night snack rotation.
But what’s even more amazing about this Creamy Black Bean Avocado Dip recipe is that it literally takes minutes to make. You just throw ALL the ingredients in the food processor, process until smooth, and you’re ready to eat.
If you don’t have a food processor, I highly recommend getting one. I got mine a couple years ago for just $30, and I use it every week to this day. Great kitchen and time investment! This is the one we have.
Creamy Black Bean Avocado Dip Recipe
- 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 large avocado, pitted and removed from skin
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup jalapeno slices
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 2 garlic cloves
- Juice from half a lime
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Add all ingredients to a large food processor. Process until smooth.
- Can be served immediately, or covered and chilled.
- Serve with tortilla chips
