Creamy Chocolate Pie Pops
YAY! Happy June! School is out, and I'm ready to break out the Summer fun. Including these fun Creamy Chocolate Pie Pops. These popsicles have a little back story. Last year, I got to partner with Marie Callender's to test out some pie-inspired recipes for Summer. They were fabulous, and I loved them so much that I got caught up in the pie-inspired treat-making and came up with a couple ideas of my own. Like these Creamy Chocolate Pie Pops.
Creamy Chocolate Pie Pops are actually made from Marie Callender's Chocolate Satin pie! Crazy, right? But that's what makes them so yummy and so easy to make. I mean, you had me at creamy. And chocolate. Right?! They're just like homemade fudgsicles! Our whole family loved them, and I can't wait to make more!
To make your own Creamy Chocolate Pie Pops, you'll need a popsicle mold and popsicle sticks. You can grab both of them on Amazon for a good price. I'll leave links below for the ones I have. Once you have your popsicle mold and sticks, all you need is a chocolate satin pie and some milk. Here are the links for my popsicle supplies. The popsicle mold comes with some sticks but I have extra because we used up those ones pretty quick!

Remove the crust and chocolate curls from 2 slices of frozen pie, but set the crust aside so you can use it later. Place the pie filling and milk into a food processor and blend until smooth. (If you don't have a food processor, grab one. They're cheap and super useful. I've had this one for about 4 years now, and I still love it AND it still works great!) Pour your creamy chocolate mixture into your popsicle mold, leaving about 1-inch empty at the top. Sprinkle the pie crust crumbs into the empty space you left. It makes the pie pops look really nice, but it also makes it WAY easier to get them out of the mold because the popsicle won't freeze to the lid.
Put the top on your mold and add your popsicle sticks. Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the Creamy Chocolate Pie Pops are totally frozen solid.
Yay! Now you're ready for the heat! Cool down with these AH-mazing Creamy Chocolate Pie Pops this Summer! Can't wait!
