Maple Pumpkin Pie Recipe
- 1 unbaked pie shell (Try this Easy No Fail Pie Crust recipe)
- 2 eggs
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon maple flavoring
- Chopped pecans
- Whipped Cream
- Roll out pie crust and place into pie dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, add remaining ingredients and beat together until smooth.
- Pour mixture into crust.
- Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350° and bake for an additional 45-50 minutes, until crust is golden brown and top of pie is set. If you find your crust is browning too quickly, cover edges with foil.
- When Maple Pumpkin Pie is done baking, allow to cool for 1 hour, then refrigerate until set.
- Serve pie topped with chopped pecans and whipped cream.
