Crock Pot Chicken Cordon Bleu
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast uncooked, cubed
- 8 ounces ham chopped
- 8 ounces Swiss cheese shredded, divided
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 box (6 ounces) stuffing mix
- ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan
- ⅓ cup butter melted
Instructions
- Toss chicken, ham, and half the Swiss cheese in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a separate mixing bowl, add cream soup, sour cream, milk, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper and whisk to combine.
- Pour soup mixture over chicken and spread evenly.
- Top with remaining Swiss cheese.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours.
- About 1 hour before serving, combine stuffing mix, Parmesan, and butter in a medium mixing bowl. Stir to combine. Sprinkle over Swiss cheese in the slow cooker. See cooking note.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Stuffing mixture: You can place the stuffing mixture in before you start cooking for a more hands off recipe, but the stuffing will get very, very soft. The flavor is still delicious, but the texture is a little different. For firmer crumbles, add it an hour before the dish is done cooking.
- Storage: Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
