This pretty, festive, and fun sparkling Earl Grey Spritzer is the perfect drink for a party or bridal shower, or even a delightful just-because pick-me-up.
Earl Grey Spritzer
I’ve got to be totally honest here. ย I’m not really a big fan of tea. ย I’m a huge coffee addict, and you’ll very occasionally find me with a diet coke (yes, lower case because us Southerners turned Midwesterners still use the word “coke” for all carbonated beverages. And I’ll hear none of that heresy about “pop” or “soda!” None of that around here!) Anyway, I don’t drink much tea.
Don’t get me wrong. ย I love the idea of tea. ย It’s so dainty. It smells wonderful, and all of the tea mixes on Instagram are so pretty. I just rarely drink it, barring some special occasions. Which this Earl Grey Spritzer is definitely worthy of one!
This Earl Grey Spritzer recipe takes all of the best parts of tea and maximizes it. Girly, pretty, dainty, bubbly, and perfect for Instagram (… if you’re into that. Which I am. And we should totally hook up there. I love meeting new friends! Find me on Instagram HERE!). I wish I would have thought of this sooner, like for my sister’s tea party bridal shower. It would have been epically perfect.
If you’re a major tea lover, you can use sparkling water instead of lemon soda to really make the tea flavor shine. ย You can even booze it up for a special occasion by adding some white or sparkling wine. Serve at any party! (Or on any day you need a pretty, festive pick-me-up!)
