Fresh and full of sweet berries, this Berry Spritzer is a pretty and refreshing beverage that’s patriotic too! Perfect for any occasion and using up ripe Summer berries!
Patriotic Berry Spritzer
I LOVE berries, especially the big ripe juicy ones in the Summer. A couple of weeks ago, I shared this Blackberry Lemon Spritzer, so why not this red, white, and blue, Americana, perfect for Summer Patriotic Berry Spritzer. It’s tangy, cool, and refreshing. Love at first taste, I tell you!
This berry spritzer has blueberries and strawberries, or you could sub the strawberries for raspberries if you like those better. To make your berry spritzer, add lemonade and soda to a large pitcher. Place a couple tablespoons of frozen blueberries into each of 4-6 glasses, and do the same with your frozen strawberries or raspberries. You want to make sure your berries are frozen so that they’ll kind of act like ice cubes. Then pour your lemonade mixture into each of the cups with the berries, and you’re ready to serve.
If you want to make this ahead of times, you can put the glasses with the berries into the freezer to keep them cold and frosty, and stash the lemon-soda mixture in the refrigerator. To make your spritzer a true cocktail, you can substitute the soda for sparkling wine.
Enjoy your fresh AND refreshing beverage. Wouldn’t these berry spritzer be so fun and pretty for 4th of July this year?!
