We have a huge meat lover at The Gracious House. ย Mr. Gracious even goes so far as to say that it's not a real meal if there's no meat. ย He's obviously not a fan of Meatless Mondays, but he IS a huge fan of this Meat Lover Pizza Pasta Bake.
Meat Lover Pizza Pasta Bake is loaded down with all your favorite meat lover pizza toppings, like Italian sausage, ham, bacon, pepperoni, and even some meatballs!
Meat Lover Pizza Pasta Bake Recipe
Meat Lover Pizza Pasta Bake
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground Italian sausage
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 (24 ounce) jars traditional spaghetti sauce
- ยผ pound bacon (about 2 to 4 slices) cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup diced ham or Canadian bacon
- 1 (8 ounce) package penne or rotini noodles cooked to package instructions
- 1 pound frozen meatballs thawed
- 1 (2.5 ounce) package pepperoni divided
- 2 to 3 cups shredded mozzarella
- Fresh parsley, grated parmesan, red pepper flakes for serving
Instructions
- To a large pot over medium heat, add sausage and onion. Brown sausage with onion until cooked through and no longer pink.
- Drain grease from sausage and return the sausage to the pot over medium heat.
- To the same pot, add sauce, bacon and ham. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a simmer and allow to cook for about 10 minutes.
- Add noodles, meatballs, and half of the pepperoni to the pot. Stir to combine. Remove from heat.
- Pour pasta into a 9"x13" baking dish.
- Generously sprinkle mozzarella on top.
- Top with remaining pepperoni.
- Bake uncovered at 350ยฐF for about 20 minutes until cheese is melted and casserole is hot and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley, grated parmesan, and red pepper flakes before serving.
