Butter Herb Roasted Turkey

Believe it or not, this foodie has gone all of her life without ever needing a turkey recipe until a year or two ago.  I'd made a turkey before... Kind of... Well, someone would leave me a prepped turkey and tell me to put it in the oven at a certain time. Does that count? Mostly I was left in charge of making a few side dishes and lots of pies. But last year I found myself needing to make the actual turkey! Ahhh!
